Call for Speakers

The Southern Section Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA) annual conference, hosted by the Western and Middle Tennessee Chapter, will be held September 20-22, 2017 at the Sheraton Music City Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee.  This conference typically attracts approximately 250 attendees from all over the Southeast.  Technical sessions include case studies, regulatory updates, new developments and practical experiences in the following areas:

Waste Management and Remediation
Air Pollution Control/Air Quality
Environmental Management Systems
Energy Strategy and Policy
Water Issues, SPCC, Storm Water
ISO Certification and Compliance
Global Environmental Impact
Climate Change/Greenhouse Gases
Environmental Performance/Incentive Programs
Environmental Improvement/Success Stories and Case Studies
Waste Minimization and Resource Conservation
Sustainability

Click the button below to submit a brief abstract of your presentation for consideration.  Include a minimum of 3 sentences describing your presentation, but no more than 250 words in length.  Presentations should be approx. 25 minutes in length, including time for question and answers.

Speaker application submittal deadline is June 9, 2017.  Please note that speakers are required to register for this conference and no travel subsidies are available.  You will be notified whether your presentation has received preliminary acceptance by July 1, 2017.  Notification of final acceptance will be provided after registration is confirmed.  Click here to register for the conference.
